Try to look at your business through a buyer’s eyes to help determine what needs to be done first.

Whenever a prospective buyer is scheduled for a tour, be sure the floor and counters are clean, papers are stacked neatly, boxes are out of the way and papers are filed or discarded.

Is all equipment functional?

Are chairs broken or squeaking?

Do doors open and close easily and quietly?

Is the stock room or cabinet neat and fully stocked?

Are customer brochures and other materials up-to-date and readily accessible?
